BARBADOS, March 21, 2005 – Insite Inc., a leading interactive agency that provides e-business consulting and development services for medium to large enterprises, today announced that it has developed the new website for Ocean Park (Barbados), the premier aquarium in the Caribbean, opening in April 2005.
The Ocean Park (Barbados) website provides visitors with information on the park’s many exciting displays, including the only underwater viewing window of its kind in the Eastern Caribbean. Visitors can also find information on opening hours, ticket prices and special events; as well as register to receive the park’s Fish Tales e-newsletter and apply online for annual membership, which provides visitors with unlimited access to the park, discounts and invitations to special events including the arrival of new marine animals.

Insite Inc. approaches web development projects with a two-pronged approach; each website consists of a front-end developed in HTML or Flash and a back-end content management system (CMS) that facilitates updates to the site, including adding new content sections and editing images and text in real time. “Our goal at Insite is to provide clients with a website solution that meets their online objectives from both the client and their customer’s point of view”, said Tracey Worme, Senior Manager of Accounts and New Media at Insite Inc. “For the client, we deliver a straight-forward content management system, on-going support and a dedicated hosting environment, while at the same time considering usability, visual impact and overall appeal for the customer.”
The Ocean Park (Barbados) website was built by Ricardo Davis, Principal Website Developer, including Flash programming featured at the top of each page. Graphics were supplied by 809Design and content was edited by Tracey Worme.
